The GE Consolidated Type 2700 safety valve is a cost-effective design to meet the needs of the combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) segment.
A variety of pressure / temperature classes, orifice sizes and inlet / outlet combinations provide a flexible selection of safety valves to meet industrial needs at the lowest cost. The high-capacity discharge gives economical selection and allows operation on backpressures of up to 25 percent of the valve set-pressure.
The mechanical flexibility of the Thermodisc* eliminates distortion due to thermal stresses and promotes quick equalising of temperature differentials for reliable and permanent tightness.
The dual ring adjustments allow fine tuning of the safety valve performance characteristics needed to meet individual steam system conditions whilst the sharp pop-action opening assures long valve seat life and reduced maintenance costs.
By giving consistency to opening and closing pressure cycles contribute to efficient steam system operation.
