About Multiplex Engineering Limited

Multiplex Engineering Limited was established in 1989 and enjoys an excellent reputation with many manufacturers in the Offshore, Petrochemical and process industry markets. Located on three sites we serve all of the UK and overseas export markets. Our recently opened head office in Chesterfield now houses our repair - calibration center and stock of new equipment.

Our Fishburn sales office serves the North of the UK and International sales and specialises in sourcing equipment and putting together bids for projects in the Offshore Oil and Gas industrys. We are able to put together complete packages of instrumentation and valves and provide our own staff to manage the purchase and expediting process.

Multiplex also operate an additional 4 acre site in Chesterfield with around 1,500 tons of surplus stock and inventory held on behalf of customers. Stocks are thought to be the largest in the UK and we are often able to deliver otherwise unobtainable equipment immediately.

Multiplex is proud of its long term association with Foxboro (Invensys) and Masoneilan and is a stockist and distributor for both companies and holds £1m+ of stock. A full range of transmitters, valve positioners , valves and actuators are available for immediate delivery.

Multiplex was originally formed as a service and repair company and today employs a team of instrumentation and valve technicians and can offer in house or onsite repairs and calibration.

We have our own control valve test rigs, pressure relief valve test rigs, flow meter calibration rig, temperature calibration ovens and a full range of instrumentation calibration equipment – all UKAS certified.To compliment this we also have our own machine shop facility to ensure all work is done with no delays and with no reliance on sub contracted work.

We have our own chemical seal fitting / repair facility and can fit seals to transmitters, gauges and switches. Multiplex have an extensive range of Badotherm chemical seals available from stock.

Multiplex  specialise in valve procurement and carry a large range of ball valves, control valves, actuators and anciliary equipment. Solenoids, limit switches and positioners are held in stock and can be fitted to valves. Our own machine shop manufactures mounting brackets for valves/actuators/positioners to ensure the complete supply/build/test process is performed in house with minimum delay.
